REQUIREMENTS TO BE A TUTOR

Become a TurtlEd Tutor

To provide exceptional support and education for our students, we seek tutors who meet the following qualifications:
Education Requirement

Education Requirement

A bachelor's degree or higher is required to become part of the TurtlEd teaching team.

Experience

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and proficiency with virtual conferencing tools are required.

Certification

Certification

A valid teaching certificate (active or expired) is required.

Thank you for your interest in TurtlEd! To apply, please submit your resume, and our team will review your application.

Yes, all of our tutors receive onboarding and training before they begin. We also have a dedicated team available to assist with any questions or concerns before, during, and after your tutoring sessions.

Our tutors work with students in either 1:1 sessions or small groups of 2-5 students.

Tutors are responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality tutoring sessions
  • Monitoring and evaluating student progress
  • Providing assessment results and feedback
  • Building strong connections with students to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure student success

Yes! We accept teaching certificates that expired within the past 5 years.
